Common questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Confidante Plus. Deleting the app doesn't cancel it.

I bought Plus but it isn't showing

Open the Plus screen in the app and tap Restore purchases, using the same Apple ID you bought with.

How do I keep my conversations if I change phones?

In Your space, tap Sign in with Apple. Without signing in, your conversations stay on the account created for this phone, and it's deleted after 30 days without use.

How do I see or change what Confidante remembers?

In Your space, go to What Confidante remembers to edit or forget items, turn memory off, or choose Forget everything.

How do I get a copy of my data or delete my account?

In Your space, use Export my data to get a file, or Delete my account to delete your account and everything in it right away.

How do I change my character or its voice?

In Your space, tap your confidant. You can pick another character, rename it, and preview and choose a call voice.

Why didn't I get a check-in?

Check-ins need notifications allowed for Confidante in your phone's Settings. Quiet hours can move a check-in later, and the earliest check-in is about 10 minutes away.
